ANo, this system only support the playback of optical pick-up heads including the recording ones, but the system cannot record the data onto discs.

AYes, it is possible by adding optional board.
 
QWhat is the difference between OPU-1000 and O-PAS800?[ O-PAS800 ]
AOPU-1000 is designed for R&D of optical pick-up heads, and it has recording function.
O-PAS800 is only for playback evaluation without recording function. This low cost system is designed for quality assurance.

AAbout 3000 hours in average.
However, this is only estimate because the lifetime differs due to the disc quality and BCA condition.

AThe scheduling needs to be repeated until the diffraction efficiency of each hologram becomes stable.
From our experience, it takes 3 times to make the diffraction efficiency of the hologram stable, and the optimum power can be selected. However, it depends on the characteristics of the material and the number of multiplexing.
 
QHow long does it take for 100 multiplexing?[ SHOT-500 ]
AIt takes 2 hours including recording and playback.
However, the operator can deal with other works during the measurement, because the system can measure automatically.
 
QHow much is the power for one pulse?[ SHOT-1000 ]
A0.05mJ/pulse.

ABetween 90 and 300rpm.

AYes, the system can record and play without address information with high-spec encoder (324,000 division out of one rotation of disc <81,000ppr>).
